Gaetan Gerville-Reache Elected to the State Bar Appellate Section Leadership Role
Gaetan Gerville-Reache, an attorney with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been elected to serve on the governing Council for the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, October 01, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gaetan Gerville-Reache, an attorney with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been elected to serve on the governing Council for the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

The Council provides education, information and analysis about issues of concern through meetings, seminars, public service programs, and publication of a newsletter. Gerville-Reache, who had served on the Council after being appointed to fill a vacancy in May 2010, will now serve a three-year term.

Gerville-Reache concentrates his practice in appeals, representing corporations, banks and domestic and foreign governments in high-stakes appeals and critical motions, both in state and federal courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association, where he serves on the Executive Committee of the ABA Council of Appellate Lawyers, and of the Grand Rapids Bar Association Litigation Section.

Gerville-Reache also is a member of the Michigan Supreme Court's Advocates Guild and the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society. He is a regular contributor to the One Court of Justice blog, the leading blog analyzing Michigan's appellate courts.

Gerville-Reache holds a bachelor of arts degree and a doctor of jurisprudence from Northwestern University, where he graduated cum laude.
