Local Hip-Hop Sensation "Shneal" to Perform Live at The Strutt
Kalamazoo area native Neal Anderson, musically known as Shneal, will be performing this Friday, February 11 at 10pm at The Strutt Cafe and Bar.

KALAMAZOO, MI, February 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- This Friday, February 11 at 10pm, local hip-hop artist Shneal will be taking the stage at The Strutt Cafe and Bar for what is sure to be a night of explosive lyrics and beats.

West Michigan communities have been buzzing with excitement in anticipation of this Friday's show. Kalamazoo area native Neal Anderson, musically known as Shneal, will be performing songs off his recently debuted album "2nd Floor Mixtape", as well as favorites from his first titled "Write of Passage".

Everyone 18 years or older is encouraged to attend. The Strutt will be charging a $5 cover charge at the door, but will also be featuring a $3 beer of the month for those 21 and older.

Shneal kicked off this exciting year with an unbelievable performance at New Years Fest in Bronson Park. It's only been a short time since but he's already looking ahead to a very busy 2011. Aside from debuting his second album, Shneal is featured in this month's issue of West Michigan Noise, and will be participating in the "Blood Sweat and Tears" competition put on by Studio 246 starting in March.

Close friend and loyal fan of Shneal, Jon Rapp, says, "His music comes from the soul, and is easy to relate to. Shneal's best attribute is his ability to take his true feelings and express them artistically, giving his tracks depth that isn't seen much in today's main stream music."

In an industry that is saturated and highly competitive, it is important for Shneal to remain focused on his ultimate goals and how he will reach them.

"I am very motivated to keep making moves and seeing where music takes me. Someday I would like this to be my career, so I guess my biggest goal right now is to keep taking steps in that direction. I think I'd get lost if I focused on the big picture too much so right now it's all about each day's progression. I get surprised by something almost daily so we will see where it takes me."

This Friday's show will no doubt be a significant step towards making that dream a reality.
