PryMarke, LLC Soliciting Business Contracts and Resumes For CAFTA Project
Independent Contractors needed for Latin American efforts
LINDEN, MI, August 05, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today PryMarke, LLC, a Michigan corporation, announced its efforts to develop markets for US products and services in Central America under the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). Labeled the "CAFTA Project", PryMarke will focus on the following industries: aviation, construction, energy, healthcare, information technology and communications, and manufacturing.
"Our purpose is to expand business opportunities for clients in our target industries in a growing region within this hemisphere," said Bryan Christiansen, PryMarke's managing director and president since 2004. "This will create jobs in the USA in particular where they are sorely needed in an election year," continued Christiansen, a former IBM salesperson in the 1990s.
Historically, the US has been the major trading partner of each of the countries in the agreement: namely, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. CAFTA eliminates all tariffs on 80% of US manufactured goods, with the remainder phased out over a few years' time.
"Costa Rica has been chosen as our base for operations in Central America because it is the oldest and most stable democratic government in the region," said Christiansen, who completed his PhD field research in Costa Rica and Panama five years ago entirely in Spanish.
PryMarke signed two new business development agreements in July with Technically Speaking, Inc., in Florida, and Igos Consulting in New York as part of the firm's CAFTA Project. PryMarke seeks to obtain other such agreements from firms anywhere inside the USA or Canada.
Christiansen stated his company is now accepting resumes from potential, independent contractors who have backgrounds in the target industries mentioned earlier to staff operations as they develop in Central America with PryMarke's clients. "We have established a dedicated email to which people with Bachelor's degrees or higher can send their resumes for our review," mentioned Christiansen.
The dedicated email address for this purpose is: prymarke@gmail.com.
PryMarke is working on a plan to include Panama in its future efforts because of the opportunities available shipping through the Panama Canal. Panama is outside the CAFTA umbrella, but the US government is negotiating a Free Trade Agreement with that country, including Chile and the so-called "Andean Countries" of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
