PryMarke, LLC Top Executive Inks Book Contract With IGI Global of Pennsylvania
"Cultural Variations and Business Performance: Contemporary Globalism" assists firms to optimize business operations

LINDEN, MI, July 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Today PryMarke, LLC in Michigan formally announced a book contract with IGI Global of Hershey, Pennsylvania. Titled "Cultural Variations and Business Performance: Contemporary Globalism", the publication is intended for scholar-practitioners who need to better understand how the globalization of today affects business performance by examining cultural variations and transcultural interaction.

"The major difference between contemporary globalism and globalization of the past is the speed of business due mostly to technology advances," said the book's author, Bryan Christiansen, PryMarke's president and managing director since its beginnings in 2004.

"Of course, there are certainly many other factors, and I have taken these into consideration," continued Christiansen, a business professor since 2003 at Capella, DeVry, and Ellis Universities in the USA. The book takes a global and transcultural perspective across a wide range of business concerns and functions, such as decision-making methodologies, organizational learning, international political economy, and human resource management.

PryMarke, LLC provides its management consulting expertise to middle-sized firms wishing to expand or improve operations domestically or internationally in a global economy. PryMarke has a Latin American regional office in San Jose, Costa Rica where it first worked with Banco Nacional de Costa Rica to revise its financial systems to conform with the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). PryMarke is now working with several US companies to expand business operations from Mexico to Brazil.

Highly fluent in Spanish as well as in Chinese and Japanese, Christiansen returned to the USA in February of this year after spending over two years in Turkey to introduce higher profit-margin industries to the country for sustainable economic growth.

"Readers should bear in mind the tumultuous world events since 2008 are still being evaluated by other experts to restructure global and national systems to work effectively in today's new realities. I hope my book can contribute positively during this process," said Christiansen. The book is anticipated to be published in 2011.
