Greater Lansing CVB Introduces 4th Annual Westside Summer Fest Featuring Lansing Attractions
Lansing's Westside Summer Fest is back again this year with even better entertainment, fun, food, and excitement


LANSING, MI, July 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mark your calendars! The Westside Summer Fest is back on July 24, from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Come enjoy a free festival fit for all ages and backgrounds. Don't miss out on a full day of diverse food, Lansing Attractions, and live music in your community.

Lansing's Westside Summer Fest is back again this year with even better entertainment, fun, food, and excitement. Headlining this year's festival is the enormously successful salsa group, Ritmo, followed by a handful of other featured artists such as Christian Nelson, Too Smooth For Notes, and Summer of Sol.

As well as great music and entertainment, visitors can also walk through the Farmer's Market or the local Artisan's market on Lansing's West side. Local food, fun, and Lansing Attractions will be everywhere. Some of the great local flavors that visitors can expect to enjoy will come from A Taste of the South, Clint's Hotdog Cart, Domino's, Marsha Fish and Chicken, and Palace of Jamaica, all in addition to the great, locally grown, fresh fruits and vegetables from the Farmer's Market.

And of course the kids will have lots to do, as well. Starting with the bike rodeo and the free bike helmet giveaway, kids can go on to watch the Fire Truck Demonstration, play in the basketball tournament, meet Big Lug (the famous mascot of Lansing's own Lansing Lugnuts), have fun at the Home Depot kids building workshop, and plenty of other activities that are sure to make this year's Westside Summer Fest an exciting and memorable experience for the whole family.
