Lawn Sprinkler Repair Michigan: Old Faithful Sprinklers Announces New Products From Rainbird, Available Summer 2010
Old Faithful Sprinkler Systems of Plymouth, MI announces new product innovations from one of their premier suppliers Rainbird. Innovations that go beyond simplifying lawn sprinkler maintenance to save the home owner water and prevent root damage.
PLYMOUTH, MI, June 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Many owners of underground or in-ground sprinkler systems know very well the value of regular start-up maintenance and fall winterization of the sprinkler lines. Proper maintenance avoids costly lawn sprinkler repair and keeps the system operating a peak efficiency. Peak efficiency means lower overall total cost of operation, including less waste of water, an increasingly important commodity in the world.
This week, Old Faithful Sprinkler Systems of Plymouth, MI announces a new product line from one of their premier suppliers, Rainbird that goes beyond normal maintenance in saving water and thus overall operating cost. Rainbird has release a whole new line of "smart water" systems. These systems can reduce the consumption of water by 30% to as much as 70%, and increase the efficiency of water that is used up to 90% vs. overhead methods. "Rainbird has a core belief around the 'Intelligent Use of Water' and we echo that here at Old Faithful Sprinklers" say Scott Halahan the owner of Old Faithful Sprinklers who began to offer these new driplines as part of their landscape irrigation services.
Another new product innovation from Rainbird and offered this spring by OldFaithful Sprinklers is the patent patent-pending Copper Shield Technology. This technology helps protect an emitter from root intrusion and what might be wasteful dispersion and more costly lawn sprinkler repair bills. The technology, developed by the Rain Bird researchers, replaces the need to use a chemical-based herbicide containing Trifluralin that was used for other sub-surface dripline products to prevent root intrusion. "When you have a non-chemical alternative to solve a problem, that's usually the more effective way to go" adds Scott, as chemical treatments increasingly are in disfavor from many customers gaining in their environmental consciousness and action.
The addition of the XF-SDI Series Dripline from Rainbird this year really steps up the efficiency of any landscape irrigation system while offering more friendly solutions for the planet too. The newer drip line uses less water, is more efficient, and contains the new Copper Shieldtm Technology to avoid the requirements for chemical root intrusion control. Overall, a greener and more friendly set of choices all around. "We are really happy to add more and more of the environmental friendly product to our services as the manufactures continue to innovate their products to be more efficient and environmentally friendly" says Scott and he adds, "these innovations also help lower the overall cost of installation because the driplines come in longer lengths, are more flexible and overall just easier to install". The new technology is really a winning propositions for homeowners in several ways.
