f.y.e. (For Your Entertainment stores) has partnered with The Food Network to distribute a CD promoting the new season of The Next Food Network Star , a flagship series for the popular cable network.

(For Your Entertainment), the largest specialty music and video retailer in the U.S., has partnered with Food Network to distribute a CD promoting the new season of The Next Food Network Star. The CD, available May 25, will be available exclusively at f.y.e. stores and online at www.fye.com.

According to Burmaster, the new CD features song and recipe pairings from the cast, judges and hosts of The Next Food Network Star. The CD, which will be on sale for just $9.99, includes the title track, "Get Ready," and the accompanying booklet details more than 15 exclusive recipes from Food Network Kitchens. The promotion is being advertised online and on Food Network with the tagline "Listen. Cook. Watch. Eat."
Food Network's number one series returns this June with the most exciting and intense season yet. Airing Sunday nights at 9pm ET/PT, season six of "The Next Food Network Star" follows 12 hopefuls competing for the ultimate dream job: his or her own Food Network show. Under the watchful eye of mentor Giada De Laurentiis, the finalists strut their star power and culinary chops for host Bobby Flay and the selection committee to see if they stack up against the competition.
