St. Charles County, Missouri Signs Contract with Manatron, Inc.
County becomes Manatron's first GRM customer in Missouri

PORTAGE, MI, February 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Manatron, Inc., a global leader in providing integrated, enterprise-level property tax and records management solutions for state and local governments, announced that it has received a contract from St. Charles County, Missouri for its GRM suite of integrated property tax software and related professional services. This project includes the installation of Manatron's GRM Tax and eGovernment solutions. The installation of GRM Tax will allow the County full integration of critical County business processes such as property appraisal, GIS, and property tax billing and collection as well as the public eGovernment interface. With two other large jurisdiction clients in the State - Clay and Jackson Counties - St. Charles County becomes Manatron's first GRM customer in Missouri.

Wanting updated and improved processing features not found in their AS400 technology, the County Collector of Revenue, Michelle McBride, began researching new tax collection systems. Based on experience, McBride was aware of the benefits of property system integration and electronic data exchange and felt it was important to include in her search the solution that would directly integrate with the Assessor's GRM customCAMA software. In addition, she was looking for a solution that would be an upgrade from her current system. GRM Tax fulfilled both of these requirements.

"I chose Manatron because of the user-friendliness of the software, the features and options that were demonstrated to us, and the willingness of Manatron to meet our go-live target date," said McBride.

This installation of GRM includes GRM Records and GRM Assessment Administration and Manatron eGovernment.

"I am excited about implementing the Manatron GRM Tax software," McBride added. "Its potential for improving operations efficiency and effectiveness will help the department provide better customer service to our citizens."

"The St. Charles contract is a strategic win for Manatron," said Bill McKinzie, Manatron President and CEO. "We have Manatron solutions running currently in Missouri, but this will be our first deployment of GRM in this market. Winning new deals in existing legacy markets is very important, and only increases the quality of the solution."
