County Becomes the Fourth GRM Customer in Kansas
PORTAGE, MI, February 03, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Manatron, Inc., a global leader in providing integrated, enterprise-level property tax and records management solutions for state and local governments, announced that it has received a contract from Johnson County, Kansas for its GRM suite of integrated property tax software and related professional services. As workloads increase and with never-ending budget pressures at all levels of government, many jurisdictions are challenged to do more with less. Property taxes have become an increasing fiscal lifeline for counties. Because of the importance of this vital revenue source, it is imperative that jurisdictions completely, accurately and fairly apply the property tax burden to their taxpayers. Manatron's GRM suite of products has been designed with this in mind.
Formerly InfiniTec, the Manatron Kansas business unit is now leading the deployment of GRM Tax solutions in Johnson County and state-wide. Beyond the acquisitions of InifiniTec and NexTech CountyWorks, Manatron continues to invest heavily in Kansas with the establishment of Manatron's National GIS Solutions Team in Hays, Kansas and the state-wide introduction of Manatron GRM Recorder.
Johnson County becomes the fourth GRM customer in Kansas. Sedgwick County and Douglas County have contracted for GRM as well. In addition, Jefferson County was the first former InfiniTec client to contract with Manatron for an upgrade to Manatron GRM Tax.

"Johnson County is the second largest county in the State and is very progressive and prudent in their vision, strategy, and long-term view. We are very pleased that they chose Manatron's GRM solution to address their property tax software needs for many years to come.
