Blue Water Area Transit Announces Opportunity for Riders: "Ride the Wave" With Icehawks Mascot Mohawk for Chance to Win 2009-2010 Hockey Season Tickets! Drawing During Tailgate Party on October 17th
One lucky passenger aboard a Blue Water Area Transit bus will win season tickets to upcoming Port Huron Icehawks 2009-2010 hockey games. Mohawk, the team's friendly mascot, is handing out 150 chances to passengers traveling on select bus routes before the October 17th drawing.

PORT HURON, MI, September 16, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Riders were surprised to see Mohawk aboard the Blue Water Area Transit Route 3 bus on August 31. During his one-hour ride, the friendly mascot for Port Huron's Icehawks hockey team gave out 50 chances for a drawing that will award a pair of 2009-2010 Season Tickets. The drawing will be held during the Tailgate Party that opens the season on October 17 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in front of McMorran Place.

"Blue Water Area Transit is partnering with the Icehawks to make this drawing possible, and we are thrilled to be working with them," says Dave Goetze, vice president/business manager for the Icehawks.

Mohawk made his first appearance aboard Route 3 on August 31 and will be riding two more routes on September 16 and October 2. He is giving out chances to the first 50 riders each day.

One winner will be drawn from the 150 chances during the Icehawks Tailgate Party that opens the season on October 17 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in front of McMorran Place. The winner will be awarded one pair of season tickets for games during the Icehawks 2009-2010 Hockey Season.
