Concordia University Ann Arbor Offers Affordable Jump-Start for New College Students
Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is rolling out an academic pilot program in July 2009, which features month-long general studies courses. The courses are offered at the special rate of $125 per credit hour for up to two classes.

ANN ARBOR, MI, May 30, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan, will roll out a new month-long session in July that will offer a variety of general studies courses in both the daytime and evening at $125 per credit hour for up to two classes. This academic session will begin on Monday, July 6, and run through August 7. The courses that will be offered include the following: General Biology, Speech Communication, English Composition, General Psychology, and Intro to Sociology.

Dr. Dennis Genig, Vice President of Academics at Concordia University, stated, "The program is designed to provide an extremely affordable alternative in education for individuals wishing to accelerate their education. Concordia's program reaches out to a variety of audiences. For home school and high school students, it provides a jumpstart to higher education. Students of fellow universities and community colleges will be encouraged to expedite their educational careers through compact, concise general studies classes. Day and evening classes will provide flexibility for students with competing work schedules."
